Côtes du Ventoux Rosé

Ventoux rose: a lovely summer wine that will bring friends together all the year round. It is the classic partner for a Niçoise salad or a garlicky fish soup. Also good with fish in spicy sauces and spicy foods in general - try it with Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes or even a mild curry.
Assemblage
70% Grenache and 15% Syrah, 15% Cinsault.
Vinification
The grapes were handpicked before being crushed and destemmed. The juice was macerated in contact with the skins for 24 hours. The skins were then pressed and the juice cold settled for 48 hours before racking.
The wine was then cool-fermented at 12°C in stainless steel tanks before being lightly filtered and bottled early in spring to keep its freshness.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Magnificent colour of pale flesh pink with blue lights.
Nose: Expressive rendition of berry fruit interspersed with some creamy character.
Palate: Good balance between sweetness and freshness which makes for an enticing combination. The fruit dominates in a very pleasant way: red currants and little cherries. The finish is slightly spicy (ginger) and is both creamy and refreshing.
Cellaring: A wine for sun and chat! Should be drunk up within two years.
